I reastarted holding C down adn no luck.

Replies mephisto mortis Posted at 8:04 pm on Jan. 27, 2006 There are two ways to boot from cd  on a mac.  Well. atleast for my iBook. 1. Hold down the 'c' key when the computer starts 2. Hold down the 'option' key when the computer starts and select the Ubuntu CD icon from the list. For the second method, If the cd drive isnt a boot option then: A. Your cd/dvd/whatever drive doesnt work (probably not very likely) B.  Its not a bootable disk or C.  Its for the wrong proc arch. telomere13 Posted at 11:57 am on Jan. 24, 2006 x0oelizabeth & cheapmex69: What do you think Ubuntu is, Windows XP for PowerPC?
