I've found WINE runs my shit at about 75% of what a Windows machine will. Also, the way it runs, just like windows can depend on your specs. If your popping a whopping 20fps in WoW, like I do on my shitty machine, the numbers where up to par.

My new machine, which kicks major ass runs it flawlessly.
AMD X2 5000+
2Gigs of ram
8800 gt.

Yuh!

Wine is also developing at a very good pace. I can run Counter Strike Source with good frame rates on a Radeon 9800, A64 3500, Ubuntu box. I'm hopeful that Linux will eventually run all Windows programs better than Windows does. :P

ReactOS allegedly can use some EXE files.  I still have to get around to testing this.  Time to set up a virtual machine.

I use Linux everyday, It's my main OS. I've never touched windows in over 3 years.

Surprisingly, even though it isn't supported. My games run perfect in WINE.

WoW, CS, Call Of Duty.

I must say, he makes a very good point.

If my picture program ran on linux & if gaim or any other linux version of msn worked there... oh yeah...  I'd never touch windows again.

Well, Linux has the GIMP and Pidgin...
