| I'm telling you everything I can about this. I've tried partitioning from Windows, AND from Xubuntu. The Windows can't get me anywhere, and GPartitioner won't create a seperate partition |

| well, when i did ubuntu, it had a partitioner on there... i dual booted with xp... cl2yp71c is right... "if you don't understand such simple steps...I don't really think linux is for you." |

| I DID... But from Windows, it will NOT let me partition. I've followed all the steps to do so, but the option does not appear, nor is there anywhere to click where I select shrink from the drop down list... |

Load up the the current OS on that HD and PARTITION it...... Actually, if you don't understand such simple steps...I don't really think linux is for you. =/ |

Ubuntu uses gnome, Xubuntu uses xfce. |
