I insert the game's CD and the game automatically starts up from there.

How would I get the games icon on my desktop so that I could double click it and the game starts rather then opening the cd drive and closing it again.

The game in question is Starcraft: Broodwar btw.

get the game... try to install it... if it dont work. take it out. snap it in half and tell it to fuck off lol

Click Start > All Programs and find the game there. Right click and click Send To > Desktop (Create Shortcut)
