I have very subtle scars and I need a picture of them for a project I am doing.  What is a good way to get them to show up in the picture, because they are, thankfully, faded a lot and not all the visable anymore.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry that this is anon, I just don't feel like putting my name out there with this for whatever reason, if that makes me a pussy or whatever you wish to call me, so be it.

macro!

and good lighting. of course.

I don't have a macro lens for my camera, yet.   I NEED to get one, though.  If i had one i would have no trouble getting the pic I need.  My lenses can't focus close enough, though.

Wow, that's really obvious and i am sure i never would have thought of it.   I"m so stressed about this, the simplest things are so difficult sometimes.  Thank you so much!
