Replies PurpleRuth Posted at 3:36 pm on Mar. 30, 2008 http://www.cnet.com my dad showed me this site... he used it when he bought a camera, and now i am using it to figure out the camcorder i should buy... the reviews on it are really good and unbiased... and there are really good search-y things (sorry--no better way to describe it!). It is awesome, and has proved to be very helpful. they have both critics and users reviewing. don't use the manufacturers information.. it is usually really biased!! What kind of camera are you looking for, how much do you intend to spend, what kind of photography are you going to do. Sticking with the name brands will help, but that doesn't narrow it down much.
