What kind of CD should i use to store photos and such?

CD-R? DVD-R? i really dk

Depends usually. With a CD-r with the right software you can have multi sessions where you can ad more information after you've already burnt some. The disadvantage of this of course is you can't delete the data thats already on there.

A rw you can act a bit like a harddrive :P

CD-RW.  You can find them at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc.  They are usually white or pink and stored in circular containers, usually found (I would guess) in the electronics section.

rw is re-useable where r is not so RW is better for info

But to my knowledge CD-R can also hold information.
