My dad is about to order the LG Dare for me. It's about the equivalent of the LG Vu for you AT&T folks.

3.2MP camera, 3inch touchscreen, 3G data, real HTML browser (LW Mobile! hahaha), VGA resolution (640x480), and best of all, 3.5mm headphone jack (can use regular headphones, like iPod earbuds).

Oh I see, I was thinking of picking up a credit card and build some credit but nah...trap

I guess that sounds cheap for 5 people. You'd think since it 2008 we'd finally see true unlimited minutes for people who still like to actually talk on the phone.

I wanted a BB curve at first when I got with sprint. But they had none in stock or in the area stores. So they talk me into the instinct, at first I was pissed off at it. But eventually I just settled for it, I don't care for the BB curve anymore. I just want my phone and my mobile internet. Anything else is bonus.

I'm not gonna get myself addicted to anymore forums. Livewire too much.

Why 220$ bill or is that some introductory price or deposit

We didn't have to pay a deposit. We have perfect credit.
Our bill every month is just $220.

We have like 2100 minutes, unlimited texted, and we have 5 people on our plan. Plus, me and my sister have internet.

I don't know what company to believe. They all say they got the best or biggest network or whatever.

I use to be metropcs, this year was my first time getting my own cellphone. It gave me good service everywhere. Only difference I see with companies like mobile, verizon, sprint, and the rest is the nicer phones. Which is probably why the bills and shit so high.

MetroPCS gives unlimited EVERYTHING for like $45. I had a family plan so I only paid $40 for unlimited text, picture, internet, and voice. It just the phone I had didn't have too many premium features like the other phone companies.

If you buy a one of these phones like instinct, dare, blackberry or whatever without contract or something like that. Then you'll be paying like 300-600 for the damn phone alone.

Even though the phones are cheap to us with a contract. They get their money through the generally higher phone bill cost(compared to metropcs) and the whole contract and deposit thing. That how they able to hand out these expensive phones.

I saw Atnt with blackberry pearl like $50 dollars with new contract. Every other company had BB curves just 100 dollars but they get the money with the contracts, deposits and phone bills.

Technically, since Verizon just bought Altell, it's the largest mobile network in the US. And companies like MetroPCS, do not provide good, if any nationwide coverage, basically, if you leave your little coverage area, you get nothing.

I am getting my LG Dare for $150 tomorrow, but my bill is around $220 a month.

I think the Instinct is around $130 I think. It might be less now, I don't keep up with Sprint's offerings.

Also, you might want to check out www.howardforums.com

It's phone heaven.

Sprint isn't horrible because your friend can't afford her bill. Or afford $200 to get out a contract that she signed. Going 2 Pre-Paid phone just red flag she bought what she can't afford ,gud lesson

Sprint is going out of business. They have lost huge amounts of customers. It's because their coverage sucks, their phones suck, and most of all, they suck.

I think it's good sprint lost 1 million customers. Hopefully they will step up their game. When theres competition in the end the consumer wins. Also sprint is the only phone company I know of that offers a low low deposit to get with them.

$150 for sprint and like $500 for the other companies depending mostly on your credit. I have no credit at all so I get the max deposit with everyone. Not sure if having such a low deposit makes losing 1 million customers not as hard on them as other companies.

Yeah, that's because they need to keep the prices low in order to keep their shitty service. I mean, your phone is about the equivalent of mine, on Verizon. The LG Dare.

But still, Verizon is the biggest 3G Data, and voice network in the US. There is absolutely no comparison to service, and the likes.

Insticnt and Sprint FTW XD

 same >:D

LG Dare looks like a mutant samsung instinct

You seriously know nothing about phones. The samsung instinct is not a good phone. The screen is small compared to most touchscreen phones, the browser sucks, and as does sprint.

Sprint service is so horrible.  My friend has it and ended up buying a pre-paid Alltel phone because she can't get out of her contract.

Yeah, I understand.
I made a cellphone decision this past summer.
I choose to get the LG voyager based off the reason of the QWERTY keyboard. The dare has a virtual keyboard like the iPhone, but from a personal stand point, I think after awhile I would be over the virtual keyboard.

The voyager has the options of both. Hence, why I like my phone.

Both phones are great, and both phones have great reviews. The LG dare is actually better from what I hear, but I'm content with my decision to stick with the voyager.

Good luck.
