Replies Tavis Posted at 5:04 pm on Aug. 28, 2008 WiFi is, in my mind, wireless internet that connect games, computers, and everything's internet. Now, the biggest giveaway if you have WiFi is whether or not you have a wireless router. They are usually less the 75$, and connect to your modem, and send out wireless internet signals. On laptops, it will pick these signals up, and will give you a list of available ones. Some may be secure, "locked", and others not. Anyone can take the insecure ones, but you need a password for the secure ones. So, if you don't have one, you don't have WiFi internet. Now, if you have a Wii or other game system, it might also send out signals, but not internet.
