I run a small time website with a forum for an online gaming community. I also have a personal website. Although my web host is very unreliable. It's been getting worse as the months go by. It's getting beyond a joke now. My websites go down every day without fail, sometimes for hours. Their support is useless too.

I did choose the wrong host from the start. (www.webhostingpad.com) They advertise Unlimited Disk space and bandwith. I've got over a year left with them, but they are just so damn unreliable!

I'm looking for a new web host package which offers:

  • 1 MSQL Database.
  • 15 GIG Bandwith
  • 200MB Storage
  • Email Addresses
  • PHP 4
  • Good uptime

I really don't want to make a mistake of choosing another bad web host. Any suggestions?

Would be better if it was based in the UK

There is no such thing as a host providing unlimited webspace.

There are tons of great hosts, but I'd personally recommend a big company like godaddy simply because of their reliability and support.

May I ask why you want php 4 and not php 5?

God no, GoDaddy is horrible. Their support staff is apparently comprised of Mac users, they randomly censor anything "controversial," they coerce customers into staying with them... worst host ever.

As long as you don't have warez or porn on your site, and stay within their TOS, you shouldn't have a problem.
