Do a virus scan, get rid of anything it finds. If that doesn't solve the problem then uninstall firefox then reinstall the most up-to-date version.

My virus scan just went through yesterday so I doubt its a virus. I'll try FF3.

Could be a virus, especially seeing as it's a recent thing. Also, make sure both Windows ME and Firefox are the latest editions.

You could try the new ff 3 RC1, it's most likely to be released as the full version. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-rc.html You'd want to uninstall your current version before installing this though. |

Try uninstalling fully, then reinstalling it. Aside from that, I really don't know, it's kind of a computer and program specific problem. (Virus scan?)
