Is Limewire illegal? I would already assume so since people are downloading free music without the legal rights to do so. But is there a way they could trace the downloads and you get in trouble?

Downloading files that you do not have the right to use or have is illeagle. But something's going on (I don't know the details) but my dad made me delete it because there are these hackers who can get into any file you have open while using limewire. Something like that. Anyway just buy your music, limewire is risky. Most importantly, respect the musicians.
