I have a book on a CD that I can't open, on my old computer I could open it using Explorer (Win 98) but can't open it using using Windows XP or the new Explorer, need help!

WHen I'm in a pinch (havent' had that exact thing yet though) I use a free meida player that plays almost anything: VLC.

Before you do that, ahve you rebooted? I know that sounds obvious but I run into that where I work a lot and a restart is all it takes to get a computer to work again.

u should b able to just put the disc in and go to the media player and it should work

Check what type of file extension it requires, Google that file extension and find a free download that will let you view the file.
