So I decided to move from fFedora to a different distro, and all went well in the install and basic use of the new installed one; Linux Mint (basically a modified version of Ubuntu 7.04, actually is, as most things installed recognize it as Ubuntu 7.04).

THE PROBLEM:

I installed using the integrated graphics port on my computer (Nvidia 6100) because (once again) my 8600GT is not supported.  Everything was perfect after I got all drivers installed.  So I switch back over to my 8600GT from the integrated port and network support disappears, but the X-server and operating system automatically detected the video card change.  So I go back to the integrated and networking and all drivers/set-up is fine.  Go back to 8600GT and once again no network support....you get the idea?

I already tried reinstalling any drivers that could be effecting this so they probably are not the case.

Any possible solutions to this?  (If you know how to solve this in Ubuntu 7._ you will know how to fix this, same thing.)
