Ok whats the deal with it you can only change it for yourself so theres not really a point in it unless you do web design  

its boring and not really the best add on

yea well for browsing social networking sites apps it aint much use is it. it has its uses

But if you do need to do anything to do with sticking a website together, it is indispensable. It allows you to see exactly what the HTML and CSS are doing. It also allows you to see what is sent and received with AJAX calls.
