Depends if you do a lot in video or photography it will get filled, but then you just have to buy an external.

The only reason most people need more then 160 is for large amounts of music or video.

Its more than enough, i upgraded from an 80GIG to a 250 GIG, and it's taken be 2 years to fill it up. It holds tons of movies, programs, and music. as well as two operating systems so it's plrenty for normal use.

It depends on what you do. I have over 300GB of data. But, most people end up using less than 100GB. I have 1 500GB drive 1 250GB drive 1 120GB drive

Depends on how much music you have. My uni laptop has 320GB but now that i've loaded on all my software, photos, music and videos etc i have about 100-80GB left. I also have my old 200GB internal drive in a USB enclosure so I can use it as an external drive. I like my storage.

You can get a portable one for <$100. Internal ones will be cheaper.
