| You're lucky. I had to wipe my girlfriend's machine yesterday cos she had it - it restricted the execution of files so I couldn't install/run antivirus, get to a command line or regedit. :/ |

| you can use free spyware like spybot or terminator software it would search and destroy malwares found on your computer. Its guaranteed |

I had the same thing, this is the only thing that resolved it. 
does it actually remove the threats or just scan for them? |

download avast antivirus and spybot: search and destroy. malwarebytes is also good. |
