My friends computer keeps shutting down like crazy and random popups that he didnt command come up even when hes not on the internet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ok thanks, i sent him a free version of spyware doctor and told him what you guys said but he signed off immediately after a said it (guess computer shutdown again),hope he got it

Yea, I suggest he run Nortons Anti-Virus and scan his computer for any viruses and problems, and if any come up, then take the steps that Nortons offers and destroy them. Or he can always reformat his computer and that will also take care of problems.

Stop going on porn sites lol. Well, if you're not, use mozilla firefox. The browser is sometimes the fault.
