Avast! is pretty good.  I use it on one of the computers I don't use all that often.

Try Avast anti-virus,
Its a Good software.you can get that for free from here > http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

first you have to register and get the Activation key[they will Email you the Key#],after that download >Install > Run the Avast anti-virus >finally activate it by the Activation key.

After the Installation is done Run Avast and scan your PC.

And Try AVG Anti-Virus too many people say thats good,I've never used that but try that.Any how Avast is the best.Im using Avast.

buy yourself a mac and youll be good..theres like 2 viruses known to man for it
i agree, but macs suck with software though. i mean you can't download shit off the net and install it cuz this world is PC driven.
I'm personally a Mac fan.

Thus you get an Intel Map and run XP in Bootcamp, or get any map and use Virtual PC.

Ad-Aware is really good, which I use.(Anti-Spyware.)
Ad-aware has lots of features including removing agressive spyware, data miners, and trojans. It can quaranteen it, and provides a log about dangerous software that it removes.
It's really good.
Here's the direct link to that:
Ad-Aware
It will work with your win XP^

AVG anti-virus is also a really good, I hear.
It protects your computer against:
"spyware, adware, dialers, keyloggers, trojans and worms."
Here's the link for that:
AVG anti-virus software

i would have aggreed with AVG about a year ago but then i found Avast.. Avast has seemed to be alot better then AVG.. it pickes up stuff that AVG doesnt and it actually searches your pc for virus's instead of just skimming through like AVG does

Well from personal experience, AVG has turned out great. I know PC Tools and Trials from Norton (don't like Norton) are alright.

Hmm. Ive used Avast Antivirus. I liked it. I dont use it anymore though.

I downloaded it off Avast!.com.

It could be useful.

I'm currently using AVG though. Try that maybe.
