We recently discovered that a small number - less than 1% - of the Video iPods available for purchase after September 12, 2006, left our contract manufacturer carrying the Windows RavMonE.exe virus. This known virus affects only Windows computers, and up to date anti-virus software which is included with most Windows computers should detect and remove it. So far we have seen less than 25 reports concerning this problem. The iPod nano, iPod shuffle and Mac OS X are not affected, and all Video iPods now shipping are virus free. As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses, and even more upset with ourselves for not catching it. http://www.apple.com/support/windowsvirus/ its old but i didn't know about it.. but hmm thoughts!!

I like it alot better than my iPod.    But yeah, just hold off, they just got the Zune in Canada, and they should have it over in the UK before early next year.    Its definitely worth the wait.    Im curious why you couldnt just buy one on eBay though. You could charge it via USB, so that wouldnt be an issue, and you could use a US based proxy to grab the software off of the Zune site, or have a nice US friend email it to you.   i may do that but i don't know if everything will work correctly I would assume so, provided you are running XP or Vista. You could always ask around on a Zune site to be sure. Im sure someone has tried it. If it will work, it will definitely be worth it, and you would be one of the first few people to have one over there!
