make sure you can view hidden files on your laptop then go to your ipods HD and the folder that is hidden (but viewable) is the one to open then go to the music folder and since you have like 2000+ there are going to be a bunch of folders F01 ... F12 etc open each copy and paste (not a shortcut) files to folder on your laptop |

| do u not just need a USB lead? thats all i use to get songs feom my mp4 - isnt it the same idea? |
