Try charging it now that it's all dry. I wished and prayed for you tho, in honesty :)
I'm so scared. |

Probably because it was salt water, and that you tried charging it/turning it on. That would have fucked it, may as-well save up for a new one now.
But mine is a survivor... It even got lost, came back, felt over and over and over again, was touched with oil and got water... just not as much. It must come to life in a week. Once It didn't work for 5 months and one day I was playing with it and came back. There must be hope. :( I'm already saving for something else... |

That'll 100% dry it out, and then its just a matter of hoping nothing else broke in the process. I will pray, and even wish on it tomorrow when I see my first star. Anyway that helps it survive
It still doesn't work. I'm dying here.
You plugged it in and everything?
No.. I tried turning it on. :( BUT i had tried that before. I wanna dieeeeee. |

Wrap it in two thick towels for 10 minutes.
You sure? ... I would put it in salt.. but consider it was already in salt water.. I don't think so.
uhhh i'm pretty sure that the river you're talking about is fresh water. |

The iPod is in it and everything? And you don't need to have it near a window, it just simply takes the wetness out. Wait, eh, 5 hours. Check it, see if it works, and if not, just leave it overnight, and it'll suck up all the moisture. Charge/plug in, and check again. Should work.
It's like having a rice bath. I'mma leave it until monday night just to be sure. I'll pray. Join me.

Well, if you get rice, just put it in it, charge it, and tada, it should work.
OKAY IT'S ON RICE ON TOP OF A WINDOW GETTING AIR. now what? How many hours? btw, it turned into the apple thing once but it was all gone kinda wet or something and now it's back to black

| Try and wrap it in a towel and see if that works. I doubt it though. Its probably gotten in the screen too. Just wrap it in something really absorbent and just hope that it will work! |
