My girlfriend's mom got her computer infected with [some virus] and I can't walk her through the removal process because well.. she's an idiot. She also cannot run any Spyware/Virus removal and detection software currently installed on her computer nor can she connect to the internet. So me, being the nice guy that I am decided to write a program that would remove [some virus] from her computer.

Now, since I do not have [some virus] installed on my computer all I have to go on are the millions of removal instructions found all over the internet. This also means I cannot debug/test the program since it is meant to be run in an environment with [some virus] installed. So I setup one of my old computers for just this purpose. BUT I CAN'T FIND A GODDAMN DOWNLOAD LOCATION. For a virus that disguises it's self as a spyware removal tool it sure is fucking hard to find.

grawr.
mad now.

How were you planning on getting your tool to her? If you were just going to post it, why not go on-line, find a proper removal tool and send that to her instead?

She has access to her e-mail account because she uses a 3rd party e-mail client. Also, all of the removal tools require you to buy the "full version" of their software and I am not going to shell out the cash for something I can write in a couple hours.

lol I don't think you guys understand. I need a specific virus but I don't want to give the name away then have people saying "HAY I FOUND A DOWNLOAD LOCATION HERE" and posting links to viruses all over the thread.

Host it on FILEFRONT and download it from there or put it on a CD/DVD and install it that way.
