Have you tried inserting in the original Windows install disk and set it into recovery mode to repair the installation? You can press the letter 'r' on the keyboard when you put the disc in to do this. Descartes Posted at 10:58 am on Jan. 9, 2009 i had that problem to...it just fixed itself for me. i left it alone. and when i tried again the next day it worked. All 3 previous replies displayed.
