(I was looking for a video input jack) This is where it came from: Anybody know what it is? I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 if that helps. It didn't do anything to my comp when I took it out. Right after I put it back in and went back to my comp I noticed that it was frozen, and then a couple seconds later it unfroze. idk if that was related or not. inb4your dumb, retarded, etc

Either the RAM or the WiFi card, my laptop is a slight bit newer than yours, an Inspiron 1520, and it has two panels underneath it, the RAM is under one which is fastened with one screw, the WiFi card (and an extra two slots for similar such cards) is under the other panel. Isn't really safe for the data on the hard drive, either. There is another panel on the bottom. It's held on by two screws and it's removable because there's a little place to pull it up.
