I, on the other hand, have a mod_rewrite entry for each page, based on the assumption that it would be faster (and simpler) to let Apache handle everything. So my .htaccess has about 60 lines like this: Code: RewriteRule ^reply/?([0-9]+)?/?([0-9]+)?/?$ view.php?action=reply&pid=$1&cid=$2 [L] I have never seen anyone else do this. Why? Is it a bad idea?
