| What I want is something like Visual Studio but for Java. They have Java Studio Creator by sun but it's not free and is only for making web apps which kinda blows. |

| Ah yes, the 100MB of eclipse...plus whatever you want it to do. I got very fed up with it a while ago when it didn’t like my nice php library that I got for it... |

BlueJ is pretty basic, good for a beginner. I use Eclipse (www.eclipse.org). It's free, but it's a huge file. 
I have eclipse downloaded and installed but I haven't used it yet. It's suppose to be very good but I haven't had a reason to use it yet. Well I have I've just been procrastinating on the whole project. |

| download the java sdk from www.java.sun.com JAVA SDK version 1.4.2 WITHOUT netbean then download a program called JBuilder and voila from there on its pretty simple |
