No matter how much everyone in the house asks he wont turn his music down, he has a $2500 system that vibrates the floors, his music comes from his computer. I am good with computers and have wireshark and can work around the command prompt. I just need some tips on how to access his computer through our wireless network and turn the volume down on his computer, or just delete all his music! Any suggestions are appreciated

there is a linux live cd where you boot off the cd and is able to change his password in windows. thats the only thing i got if you wanna get into his room and do it.

The only way I can think of hacking into his computer is using a program which I cannot suggest here. But for the time being you'll need to talk to him about the noise and that he needs to respect other people.

How about tell him to get some headphones and some respect.  If he cannot simply keep it down at night, go turn him down if you catch my drift.

haha, great advice. I was thinking something a bit stealthy. After posting this I just went and hit the switch on the breaker. It's a band-aid solution because once he finds the switch he'll switch it back on and then play the music again. I'm a student so i move out in a few months. If I cant easily do the stealthy method (hacking his computer) I'll just break into his room when he's not there and take care of things, but I wanted to try stealth first

Here's what you do.

You grab a large heavy object.  You take the object to the computer.  You set it down beside the computer and go get more rocks.  Completely block your friend from his computer after piling tons of stuff around it.  Make sure its off before you block it.

The easiest way? Wait until he is not there, and then go in to his media player and fuck up the equalizer by removing the bass.

Problem solved.

Located his computer through wireless, deploy virus. Run the virus, computer reboots and system fails.

lmao this is funny.. Ah I'm not sure about that. You could try shutting the power off at night all together.
