I do drive slowly, I don't floor it and it's an auto. I never turn off my car at a light, if I did and waited the extra second to start it up people would honk! It's an older car, 96 with 150K miles on it. I took it to the Honda dealership and they checked it out but said everything was in working order. Yep, I think that's a HUGE mistake.. most cars use very little fuel at idle, so if you turn it off.. ok maybe you save a little fuel there but then you waste more in starting up your car.. not to mention you wear your cranking motor.
