Fusion comes with a six speed manual or six speed automatic. The manual is only available on the bargain-basement four cylinder S. The six speed automatics are standard on all other models, engines, and AWD equipped cars. In my opinion that is the smarter move. Say you are one of the few Americans who require a manual, you sure as fuck aren't going to be buying a GM or Toyota product. It looks different, its a love it or hate it design. In addition to the looks its also innovative, the safest crossover money can buy, and its build quality is on-par with the best. Not to mention it retains that fun driving factor Ford has always had over the competitors. Looks like a Scion xb to me, not good.
