is really funny. It's a nice brake from the very predictable normal driving.

You just never know wtf is going to happen.

Am I gonna spin out and hit that guy?
Will I slide off the road?
Can I even make it up that hill?
Will I be able to stop in time?

You just don't get that on a dry road.

Keeps you on your toes and gives you a chance to apply your skills.

Driving is predictable if you know what you are doing.  Knowing exactly how your car reacts means you can have even more fun in the snow.

What is bad is lots of fog, had tons driving back from Wisconsin last night.  ~40mph was my average traveling speed.  Would have loved snow over fog so I could at least see where I was going.

When I stop at the stop sign, will my ABS work again?

My truck doesn't even have abs. Boosh.

My truck doesn't even have power brakes, bitch. And my steering isn't power, either.

Indeed it is interesting. Conditions where a Ford Tempo can race a Mazda RX-8 or Chevrolet Camaro, and win. By a ridiculously large margin.

LS1's and 350's can eat my Tempo's 2.3L shit.

full time symetrical AWD + performance snow tires makes winter driving less eventfull than clear roads

I hate full time awd. It kinda makes doughnuts no fun.

No, it sucks balls, I spun out and slid down a hill sideways into 2 trees, now my pickup is majorly fucked up.

Wow that sucks. I was just driving home earlier coming up the highway to my house. It was pretty icy so I was cruising along at about thirty and hit a kind of mound of ice in the road. Like instantly sideways. It was pretty squirly for a minute but I saved it.
