Was going about 30 around a corner, hit ice, which accelerated me right into one of those square curbs. it dented my rim, on my brand new damn snow tires. :( What i need help with is my alignment. I know yall dont know how to fix it. I'm leaving that to the professionals. i just need a ballpark estimate as to how much its going to cost to fix it. My steering is WAY WAY WAY touchy now. There is slush on the roads (snow and water combo, makes it nasty) and every time my wheels hit it, my car goes sideways because i dont have too much control of the steering. Also, when my wheels are straight, my steering wheel is about 3 inches to the right. Ug, anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Replies 4est Posted at 6:17 pm on Dec. 28, 2008 Before these shitdicks start bitching about a bent axle, there's a really simple test you can do. It's called get a friend to drive your car slow and straight and look at the wheel and see if it's wonky. It won't be like Mickey Mouse car shit, but if it's bent it will have little wonk to it, as far as I know. Source: Same thing happened to me when my mum was driving in 9th grade, except the back wheel hit the curb around 50 kph (30ish mph) head on: damage was a bent axle and bent rim. The wheel was visibly wonky on the side that was hit, about 1 inch of wonk.
