I still don't care. Tempo's are ugly as sin.

Maybe try to find a chromed out one on ebay with some chrome mesh or something? I bet that would look nice.

2nd one looks pretty bad ass to me.

psh, -3 is nothin. Add a 0 to that and you've got what it was here last week. Cold snap is over though.

I've seen Cheyenne C/K-3500's with blankets stapled into the grill with those heavy duty staples. Its haunted me ever since, and I thought, never will my Tempo suffer the same fate..

it wouldnt make it "Ratty ass" i see people with nice cars/trucks up here all the tiem with cardboard over the grille / rad., it doesnt really do anything bad. hell ive thought about it. i just never needed to cuz it doesnt get that cold .. its sposed to be at lowest this week -3 :(

I believe you, but like I said, every little bit helps. Your idea sounds good but I mean, at that point, I might as well just grab a '93 grill from a junk yard car and slap it on mine. Will look better at any rate. I'm not doing it just for functionality, so its sort of killing two birds with one stone. So yeah I'm doing it for cosmetics mainly, with the hope of keeping a little cold wind out. No matter how little. Who knows, I might end up still having to put fillers in between the slot in the grill anyway.

I'd rather not contribute to the growing amount of ratty ass Fords and trucks with the cardboard and what not.

    1. Guys at TTCCNA said yeah, the third generation grills will reduce airflow into the engine a little bit.
    2. I can't imagine cardboard is going to stop much more air then a solid grill.
    3. I know a guy who made a custom grill for his Ford just to seal off all major gaps.
    4. EVERY little bit counts. You guys wouldn't know that.
    5. I am more inclined to believe experts and fellow Tempo owners then two Chevy fan boys.
    6. I think a new grill would look better then the lid to a storage bin being nailed on.

I know, you, Eric of all people wouldn't duct tape, nail, or staple cardboard and bin tops to the grill of your Impala.

I would cut a piece of cardboard, put holes in it, and use zipties to loosely hold it to the grille.

or zipties to hold it to the radiator frame behind the bumpershell

trust me.. i know automotive cooling systems. that grille may prevent a little bit less but it will be un noticable in the end and waste of time and cash unless youre going for cosmetics.

He wanted a Tempo, got a Chevy, says Tempos are no unreliable shit and still tries to maintain he likes Tempos/Fords.

    Sense. It makes none.

And by the way ASSHOLE, I am a Ford fanboy. It is possible to be one and drive a Chevy.

If you're a Ford fanboy and drive a Chevy...you're just a fuckin dickwad.

    1st pic...tehehehgiggle moderators.

Didn't think of that. Could black that chrome band on the bumper out up front, maybe get some clear turn signals, then the third generation grill and it might look alright.

Don't forget the primed 3 foot spoiler in the rear with some Underglow kits all around.

    Would be one    car.
