I am just getting more and more angry/depressed/unhappy.

I have straight c's now. earlier this year, i had straight f's.

I told my parents, IN ADVANCE, that I could not have this one teacher for math, because she's had so many complaints about her. they refused to move me.

fast forward to now. 7 people have moved out of my class, and I'm failing. I knew this would happen.

My friend moved out today too.

Now, I can't move. I'm going to fail the class, my future at a good college is ruined with my straight c's.

i am depressed.

if anybody needed to be movedo ut of that fucking class, it was supposed to be me.

I can not take it. I am severely depressed right now.

Try to talk to your school about it, convince them, cry in front of them!

talk to the school, screw what ur parents say..fix it urself

I can't. You cannot be moved without the parents coming in.

Besides, our school is pretty crowded. If 7 people moved out in my class alone, I'm sure more have moved out in other periods. Meaning, there is probably no space elsewhere.

What math class is it? The name?

  Trigonometry.

Do you really need that to graduate? Check with your school. You might have already completed your requirements.

Yes, I must have it.

I heard somewhere I could take an Algebra 3 class, but there's only one time slot for that, and it's considered to be a class for those who failed Algebra 2, which I didn't.

You only need Alg 1, geometry, and math models Alg 2 to pass high school in the states, if that's where you are.

ONE class will not get you i big trouble w/ colleges. Esp. 1 class of one year/term. I bet they can move u in second term/trimester...

NO, I ALREADY SAID THAT.

I PROBABLY CAN'T GET MOVED.

I already have straight C's, didn't you read that?

Now, I will have an F.

So, 5 C's and an F. that looks fantastic on a transcript, doesn't it?

Try talking to your counselor, maybe he can get you moved.  Otherwise, just work at trying to bring the grade up.

And why is everyone focused on a "good" college? What defines a college as "good?"   I mean, as long as you can afford it and get you a degree, then it's good.

As for your friend, you still have their number right?  You can always call them or facebook or myspace, you don't have to lose all contact because they moved away.

But really, everything will be fine, it's just this semester.  Trust me, you aren't the only one doing shitty with it.  Just about EVERYONE I have talked to has been having a bad time.  Things will get better eventually, just take a breath cry, sleep and go hang out with friends at least once or twice a month.  It will really make a difference.

learn on your own or have someone tutor you. some people dont even need the teacher to learn the subject

why do you need your parents' permission to change classes? surely that's up to the school to decide? and why don't you complain about what a terrible teacher she is?

People, obviously, have already done that.

If you ask why she hasn't been fired yet, I don't know.
