I've only ever had one before.
And I am getting the feeling again.

I am so overwhelmed with everything.

I need to go to sleep but I can't.

shh. the computer isn't the best thing for you to be focusing on if you feel an upsurge like that. whenever that happens to me, i pull out my baby tape of lullabies from when i was an extremely young child. it has heartbeat noises in the background, and it is very soothing and calming. i plug in my nightlight and i put on my comfy pjs and i pull up my covers and i listen to my tape.
if it gets really bad, i have my dog (who is an attack/watch dog) cuddle with me. i instantly feel safer and secure.

That happens to me frequently.
It's impossible to calm yourself down.
Let it pass.
