If the only explanation is mercury poisoning, then it probably is mercury poisoning. Get those fillings out immediately. "On August 14, 1996, Karen Wetterhahn, a chemistry professor working at Dartmouth College, spilled a small amount of dimethylmercury on her latex glove. She began experiencing the symptoms of mercury poisoning five months later and, despite aggressive chelation therapy, died a few months later from brain malfunction due to mercury intoxication."

Hmmm, off the meds eh? I've had no experience with the symptoms you describe except the tinnitus. I also assume you've been checked for glaucoma. The sahdows in front of yoru vision sound like 'floaters' though usually they aren't so pronounced. Nothing can be done about those and they are quite common. But perhaps an eye specialist and/or goiing to an optometry teaching facility (school or hospital) might be the next step, since you've eliminated drug interaction.

if you're up for it, you could try a naturopathic physician. i've been on many anti's, and i've found that they're a bit more helpful. also, my guess is that this is probably manifesting from the meds you're taking. could it be a side effect?
the thing is he'll put me on all sorts of herbs and vitamins i've already tried. i went to this one lady who did something called muscle testing and it was so wack. what vision problem were you talking about? i need to know. it's bad.
i'm sorry, i was vague. no vision problems, but other problems. i think i've only found myself liking some of those doctors because they are open-minded. they seem to treat the patients as people and not as masses of problems. but yeah, unfortunately a lot of it seems to be a load of crap. good luck. |

i would guess the medicines are interacting bad, or that you are getting an allergic reaction to something in one of them, like something real medical that oyu didnt know you had before now *~ ~*

yeah i had an eeg and mri last year it would of shown. but im NOT on any of the meds anymore. but i regret it because now im overly emotional about everything, which would be fine if i didn't have the scary eye things. the eye doctor said i don't have any cataracks or abnormalities! jesus what then?! can someone legimitly go crazy after 19 years of being alive?

Ouch! That sounds like hell. My best guess- only a guess of course - is that maybe all the meds are interactign with each other. I had a friend who was on a truckload of them and needed a specilist to get her off the 2 dozen meds she was on and back to 3 or 4. Maybe you could ask your doctor about that. I doubt the mercury in the amalgam fillings is causing such symptoms or I'd be having them too. I don't want to scare you unnecessarily but have you been checked for a brain tumour?

Are you sure you don't need your glasses changed? There is a name for the things you are describing, but I've forgotten what. I get those too sometimes, but they go away. You aren't crazy, don't worry.
