I'm really sick of always coming on here and reading posts from girls saying some version of the following:

"My boyfriend and I had sex without a condom and I might be pregnant. What should I do???"

Obviously if you are having sex without a condom you are putting yourself at risk. You should always use a condom unless you are financially and mentally ready for children. You fully knew what you were doing.

And some girls use the excuse: "We didn't have a condom." Well maybe you should keep your legs closed until you can get one.

The point of my rant: stop asking us what you should do!! The choice is up to you. Abortion, adoption or raise it.

If you girls are as ignorant and clueless as you sound then you should not be having sex at all.

End rant.  -D

I agree that there is no point in posting on a forum saying 'OMG i think im preggers wot shud I do'.

I think you're a little quick to judge though. Lots of people have had unprotected sex, adults, married couples as well teenagers. People make mistakes.

Yup they made the mistake. Don't waste time clogging up LW with those kinds of posts. Go deal with it. Peace out!

When you go out into the real world, you are going to have one hell of a shock, the way you view even something so basic as sex in a relationship, and deny the existence of domination.

Sad.

You don't know them at all. Maybe their boyfriend pressured them into it. Maybe they aren't properly educated because their parents refuse to talk about it, and their boyfriend makes those stupid rules like, "oh if we do it standing up you won't get pregnant". Maybe they have been through trauma in their lives, so they think sex will make them feel/seem like a nicer person.

You are quick to judge, and that's why you're the ignorant one.

If they are that easily manipulated by pressure from their boyfriends then they are not ready for sex. And believing their boyfriends rules about "standing up" then they are not ready for sex.

Oh my god you're a fucking idiot.

Yeah, everyone has the money to take morning after pills. They're so cheap, and everything.

still cheaper than an abortion in america, or a lifetime of looking after a child xx

Are you serious?
That's like saying rape victims aren't prepared for forced intercourse.

Are you now going to claim that peer pressure doesn't exist? I bet you have all the proof for that too, just like the rest of the bullshit you're trying to pass off as fact.

Leave them alone. Hormones can dictate teen emotions more then anything else at times, give them a break. I know this is a rant, but still...

Um I am a teenager as while and if my boyfriend doesn't have a condom I tell him to go find one or don't even bother.

Since when are you the mold for teenagers?

I am not. They were saying that teenagers hormones are an excuse for unprotected sex. It is not an excuse. It is ignorance.

Where is your proof that it is completely due to 'ignorance'? If you have none, refrain from trying to put your opinions off as fact.
It doesn't matter how hard you believe it. It doesn't make it true.

For most of these kinds of posts, I most often put at least one kind of post that counters the OP.

But in this case, I agree 100%.  Saying that you didn't have a condom when having sex with your boyfriend is not an excuse.  Being 'caught up in the moment' isn't a valid reason either.

The only thing I want to mention is that the guy is also equally to blame in this case, but since the girl is the one that has to care for the child, you don't always consider the guy into the equation.
