hmm...
Approximately 150 Scud-C [Shahab- 2] with 500km range and 700kg payload. Up to 200 Scud-B [Shahab- 1] with 300km range and 985kg payload. Approximately 200 CSS-8s with 150km range and 190kg payload. Unknown quantity of indigenous Mushak-120 with 130km range and 150kg payload and Mushak-160 with 160km range and 500kg payload. Launched almost 100 Scud-B against Iraq during 1985-1988. Limited quantity of Shahab-3 with 1,300km range and over 700kg payload. In addition, there is suspicion of improvement on Shahab-3 bringing it to a 2,000km range. Announced development of solid fuel for ballistic missiles to be installed on Shahab-3. Reported development of Shahab-4 with 2,000km range and 1,000kg payload and Shahab-5 with approximately 5,500km range and 1,000kg payload.
Lets just all remember that Israel wouldn't attack Iran unless it really thought it was in the final process of weaponization or the "point of no return"
Who knows. He'd probably give some vague answer as to what he'd do.
Some useless bullshit like "Peace must happen and somehow, someway we will do it."
So basically, change we can believe in?
I had to laugh at this.
Obama would be in the unfortunate position of having to follow precident irregardless of how we feels in the matter. At the moment his campaign rhetoric has swung to the right as he prepares to engage McCain, McCain hasn't responded with the traditional swing to the left because either he's too politically incompentent or the Reps are in such a state of cancerous infighting that they can't pull together like in the good old days. So ask Obama now and he'll probably bomb bomb bomb Iran but in reality he would probably try and keep links with Israel, help them a little, stay as quiet as possible.

Because there are bad men in the world who don't care if you talk because the only thing they understand is the barrel of a gun and the only reason you are safe and sound is because other good men are willing to talk to those bad men in the only language they understand - with barrels of guns themselves. I don't like this story anymore.

It isn't a pleasant story but it is the truth. In the future perhaps you shouldn't ask questions unless you are ready to hear the answers.
Please read this entire post. We must go to war with Iran and destroy their nuclear facilities very soon. Even if you are a hardcore pacifist read all of this and THEN make a decision. Do not be ignorant and oppose this war just because it is a war without even knowing the reasons for it. This is urgent and not a joke. People need to wake up before Iran blows up israel and possbily hits the U.S, killing and maiming millions. I found an article on iranwatch.org that specifies what Iran has built so far and when. It is quoted below. "International interest in Iran was heightened dramatically in the summer of 2002, when the existence of two nuclear sites was revealed by an exiled Iranian resistance group.[1] Within a year, the world realized that Iran had built or was building everything needed to produce enriched uranium, which could fuel nuclear weapons as well as nuclear reactors. The sites included a uranium mine at Saghand, a yellow cake production plant near Ardakan, a pilot uranium enrichment plant at Natanz, and a commercial-scale enrichment facility on the same site. In addition, Iran was continuing work on a 1,000 megawatt nuclear reactor at Bushehr and was building a heavy water production plant at Arak, next to which Iran planned to build a 40 megawatt heavy water reactor. Beginning in March 2003, following revelations that Iran had concealed nuclear work from the IAEA, the Agency has been investigating Iran's nuclear history. " LINK TO ABOVE ARTICLE: http://www.iranwatch.org/wmd/wmd-nuclearessay-footnotes.htm So Iran has already built or is currently building EVERYTHING necessary to construct a nuclear weapon. And they hid TWO nuclear facilities from the IAEA. (A nuclear watch organization) . If so, then why has he openly called for the eradication of Israel off the map at a conference? LINK TO ARTICLE ABOUT CONFERENCE: http://english.aljazeera.net/English/archive/archive?ArchiveId=15816 "Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has openly called for Israel to be wiped off the map. Ahmadinejad addressed students at a conference "The establishment of the Zionist regime was a move by the world oppressor against the Islamic world," the president told a conference in Tehran on Wednesday, entitled The World without Zionism. "The skirmishes in the occupied land are part of a war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land," he said. "As the Imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map," said Ahmadinejad, referring to Iran's revolutionary leader Ayat Allah Khomeini. His comments were the first time in years that such a high-ranking Iranian official has called for Israel's eradication, even though such slogans are still regularly used at government rallies. " As you see, he has openly declared that Israel should be wiped off the map. In addition ahmadinejad has declared that he wants the entire world to be controlled by islamic theocracy government. He has also declared that his country is not afraid of the U.S. or the U.N. and that his country will not back down. This info is from a book titled "The Iran Threat." The book was written by an Iranian man who moved to the U.S and is opposed to Ahmadinejad's regime. In addition, Iran could gain the capability to strike the United States if the nation purchases long range missles from Russia. There is evidence of Russia making many arms deals with Iran recently, selling them tanks and rifles and other things. And there is also evidence that Iran takes these weapons and gives some of them to Hezbollah, an anti israeli terrorist organization consisting of millions of militants which Iran helped create and heavily supports. This shows they could easily purchase missles from Russia if they wanted to. The following is a quote from an article about Iran and Russian arms deals. In the article is a quote from the leader of Hezbollah, and in the quote he admits that Iran fully backs Hezbollah and often gives them weapons. (which they acquired from Russia.) "Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah has said it is no secret that Iran is aiding Hezbollah by sending money and weapons via Syria. In remarks published in an interview in the weekend issue of the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai Al-Aam, Nasrallah also is willing to receive aid not only from Iran but also from Muslim countries that have diplomatic ties with Israel, such as Egypt, and states that are considered moderate, such as Saudi Arabia. It has attempted to keep nuclear facilities hidden from the U.N. Iran's aggressive support of a violent anti israeli terrorist organization and their president's need to wipe israel off the map shows they are very, very hostile to israel and very aggressive and would not hesitate to use a nuke on it if they had one. And the fact that Iran has made many arms deals with Russia in the past shows they could easily purchase missles that could be equipped with nuclear warheads that could strike the U.S and other nations. I say we don't wait until Iran is done with their nuke and see what happens. I say we attack them now.

I slogged through all of your stuff, and am now sufficiently prepared to refute it.
I looked at your iranwatch site. It is very biased and provides almost NO links to the original works that it sites. It only links to itself.
I seem to remember pictures like this coming from Iraq when people like you so adamantly said that war with Iraq was necessary because they had "nuclear facilities" like this one.
A president can openly say his prejudices against Israel. That DOES NOT mean that he has nukes and wants to use them against Israel. There is absolutely no connection. Your quoted part of the conference has nothing to do with nuclear capabilities, only that the Iranian president dislikes Israel.
You say the Iranian president wishes for a global Islamic theocracy. Provide links or you could just be pulling it out of your a**.
You say Iran is supporting Hezbollah. Your condemning them for what we do all the time; we aid terrorist organizations that are against our enemy.
Russia is trading with Iran in the form of DEFENSIVE missile systems? That doesn't seem odd, considering Israel has a more advanced air force than them and the fact that we are on the precipice of attacking them. FYI those missile systems are incapable of carrying a nuclear warhead.
So you have proved nothing. Iran's leader hates Israel, that is about it. Iran is creating nuclear REACTORS that will use their enriched uranium. They are more than smart enough to realize that trying to develop nuclear weapons would end badly for them. You have not swayed me with your biased, unfounded links or your wild exaggerations and extrapolations.
Just looked up SCO. Yeah i doubt those nations will directly help Iran with troops and such, they will probably just provide money and aid. But even if they do, whatever, we'll still be able to destroy the nuclear facilities of Iran before they can respond effectively. Besides i think WW3 is pretty much inevitable anyway.

Get it through your skull. We do not have enough resources for another large scale war, especially since Iran will have the backing of multiple countries. Plus they will have money, troops, and supplies. We have none of that.
Yeah i doubt those nations will directly help Iran with troops and such
Russia would more than likely provide troops for Iran and basically do whatever it can just short of declaration of war with the US. You can count on that.
However, as far as India, China, and Pakistan goes, you'd probably be right.
they will probably just provide money and aid. But even if they do, whatever, we'll still be able to destroy the nuclear facilities of Iran before they can respond effectively.
Lol, and Iran will be able to use the planes, missiles, and everything else they've bought to destroy US bases in Iraq and Afghanistan and start hurting US presence in the Persian Gulf pretty badly, too.
Don't take aid from the SCO to Iran lightly. It's certainly enough to prolong a war with Iran, make it extremely costly to Americans, and hurt American presence in the Middle East.
I honestly doubt a war with Iran would ever start a WW3. WW3 would require some greater powers getting into the mix, and the only possibility of one I'd see would be Russia, which wouldn't be enough to turn it into a "world war" (though a big war no doubt). And even then, I have the good faith in that the Russians know that war with the US is stupid, thus they'll do whatever they can to support it through a proxy like Iran, but not get themselves directly involved.
