umm he is still black just not 100% black so he is still black
He is just as much white as he is black thus if 50% is enough to call him black it is also enough to call him white.
They go by appearance not fact
True Dat.
umm hes still white just not a 100% white so he is still white
why is the sky blue?
There's a very good reason for that.
Now you can see that blue is towards the bottom of the spectrum and has a low wave length.
Longer wave lengths pass through things much easier than shorter wave lengths. ie: its easier to get am radio inside than fm radio.
So the shorter wavelengths of the bluer colors bounce off of molecules in the atmosphere while lower wave length colors pass through. This spreads blue light around the atmosphere therefor it appears blue.
It's not an Obama thing. It's just how society...or at least in the U.S has been for a very long time. Malcolm X, the famous militant black leader, was Bi-racial. His father white, and mother black. Sure he wasn't raised by the father in the least bit, since his mother was raped. Though nobody would consider Malcolm to be white, even himself, and he hated the "white blood" in him. In our society since the slaves. We have considered mulattos to be black. The slave owners would rape the women, and then have the children be slaves. After slavery was abolished, with voting if you were even partially in the slightest degree black you couldn't vote. Women who had..fairer skin, though not white would wear special make up, and dye their hair or wear wigs to hide the fact that they weren't completely white. Still to this day, mulattos in society are treated as though they are 100% black. Which is why most of us call ourselves black. While It is crappy to have to...."choose camps", as some people have said. It isn't something done to be "cool" or even to get political points. The whole, "acting white" bullshit though. That's one of the few things that actually piss me off. If a black person gets responsibility, and doesn't act like a dumbass they're "acting white".

That's a good point.
He acts like a white man. His sister is like Native American or Mexican or something, and she doesn't look a thing like him. But they're half-siblings.
his sister is half white half indonesian, if you were wondering
Using your obviously flawed logic, in the mixing pot the world, especially America and parts of Europe, has become, we are almost all black. Even if its just 1% of your heritage, or such a small percent that you dont even know about it, you most likely have a little bit of it there.
??
Idk. I asked the same thing and someone told me that once.
I was wondering about this, and I want to hear your opinions. Barack Obama isn't really black, he is bi-racial. His mother was a white American, and his father was a black Kenyan. So he is just as much white as he is black, but that's just the genetics. His father left his mother and returned to Kenya when Barack was 2, and Obama only saw his father once after that. He was raised by his mother, who was white, and his maternal grandparents, who were obviously also white. So I don't really understand why everyone just calls him black, as if he is just like any other black man, in my opinion, Barack Obama is closer to being white than black.
