Abrahamic religions traditionally have disallowed women from being ordained, and allowing Anglicans, Unitarian Universalists, and the like to do so defiles the sanctity of traditional Jewish, Christian, and Muslim clerical practices. Besides, if we allow people to ordain women pretty soon they'll be ordaining animals, too.
