As you may know, Prop 8 passed in California. Same-sex couples have lost the right to get married.

What are your views on this?

I myself feel like a second-class citizen. Like I am not longer treated equally under the law and I am absolutely devastated.

You?

I support the correct stance on the marriage debate. Proposition 8 does not.

Also, this.

I agree with it

what does it matter to you if same sex couples can get married or not

I'm just against it dude!

Wow, that is the best persuasive argument I've ever heard. It's right up there with "Because I said so".

People disgust me. It's so cold-hearted, how people can be so power-hungry, and have such control issues that they want to take away rights of others for no logical reason.

Actually, a judge said that same sex marriage should be allowed. even though it wasn't in the California constitution. the people back then didn't define marriage as being between one man and one woman. the judge found this loophole. On Nov 4th, the PEOPLE of California spoke out against gay marriage. The people FINALLY made the right decision.
just because the people say it doesnt mean it is right.

I think its stupid that people get mad and are opposed to something that doesn't even affect them.

The people can still be unconstitutional. Which could render their opinion, and therefore votes invalid.

I was rather pissed off that it passed.

The thing that gets me about it is not the fact that homosexual couples cannot, at the moment, get married. It's the fact that gay marriage was originally approved, then taken away. That's wishy washy politics, and that's concerning.
