i hate those people who are FOR prop 8/banning gay marriage and theyre all prejudice and say that us "faggots" dont need marriage because we already have a civil union and that should be enough.

its like bitches pleease i really dont think a straight couples marriage is less legit because a gay couple is married. say your parents woke up one day and were like "omg i dont love you our marriage is a sham because bill and bob got married now our marriage doesnt mean anything"

what the fuccckkk.
the bible says man and woman.

but if its such a sin then why did jesus never condemn it?
and why is THAT the sin you think is the worst out of all the other things listed in leviticus?

I have never heard of a gay murdering someone for their sexuality, but have certainly heard of at least three cases of the opposite. People just can't seem to admit that the hatred towards the GLTB community is real, and it's dangerous. It is first-degree, while anything homophobes might bleat about GLTB people doing in retaliation is just that...retaliation. It may not be right, or productive, but certainly understandable.

You just haven't heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist draaky.  And force don't solve problems rather it fuels the fire.  We should solve things in a peacefull and compassion way than force and retaliation.

BTW I am not looking for a debate just correcting you.

I hate people that lose something in a democratic fashion and then proceed to black list and harass/attack anyone who didn't vote their way. I really don't see why gays shouldn't have marriage but the shit they did after they lost is fucking retarded.

Well said I concur with you.

You should really educate yourself on both sides. The yes on prop 8 campaign was black mailing companies that were willing to help the gay activists. They also got support from out of state and churches. How democratic is that?

Because two wrongs make a right eh? Really there is no way in hell that you won't have gay marriage within the next decade. Just sit back and be patient, doing things like that will not help you any.

that is not my point. My point is that they (yes on 8) were also doing wrong so don't just throw it at the gays. Plus they were stripped of rights, and deemed as second rate citizens. I am actually glad it didn't erupt into anything worse.
And that is true also, that marriage is really close in their grasp, all they are doing is allowing the homophobic community to have an excuse to not let them marry.

Exactly, but the sad bit is the news has the ability to demonize the homosexual population and make the heterosexual side seem like saints. No way in hell Prop 8 will stay in place, hell i wouldn't be surprised if someone took it to the Supreme Court to challenge it . We just gotta sit and wait sadly :/

   they are.
currently the supreme court has accepted to take 3 different cases each challenging the yes on prop 8 decision saying its discrimination, goes against the civil rights act and alot more.

Ahh good, here in Wisconsin theres not much news on that. We're far to busy still hating California for stealing our cows  .

what the..what is this business with cow stealing?

Wisconsin used to be the big Dairy / cheese state, California took the title and then puts up commercials over here saying "Happy cows come from California."

OHH i know what commercials you are talking about.
i do associate wisconsin with cheese. my friend has a friend over there and she mails her cheese....she got food poisoning though hah.

Leviticus, AKA the Holiness Code, no longer applies to today. St. Paul and Jesus Christ himself said that it does not apply to humanity anymore. Further more it was written for the Jews, not the Christians. Meaning it is a sin for Jews to do that, not for Christians however. Also when in the Bible it says "Abomination", that is a mistranslation. The Hebrew word for it only means a sin for that period in time. Meaning that today it could not be a sin. Also the Bible does not understand homosexuality the way we do today. We know that it is not a choice, irreversible, and a part of that person.

ahah everyone who says the bible says its wrong just got OWNED

lol
well It isn't even mentioned once in the New Testament. And ironically, Jews are becoming really tolerant of the subject. And all the scriptures that depict sexual acts are in the Old Testament. It doesn't ever mention two women either. And for Islam they often site the story of Lut. That was for other things not homosexuality. But it is interpreted that way sadly.
