Replies hithere Posted at 7:08 am on Nov. 7, 2008 one time when i was on OB i saw this horrible MER closing... the member's topic had been deleted for abuse of anon and in the MER they said that the content of the topic was embarrassing and they didn't want people that knew them in real life to read it... the mod who closed it said something like "you can use an alternate account for those situations" i was like wtf, maybe you can deny the person because you don't think it was an embarrassing enough issue, but don't just go along with them and tell them that they were wrong to use the anonymous feature for the exact reason it was implemented... iconoclast Posted at 8:44 pm on Nov. 5, 2008 Quote: from MariJani at 6:18 pm on Nov. 5, 2008 Man, I'm so happy I didn't close that MER. It's a Moderation Error Report.  You file one when you feel as if a moderator had taken some for of action against you in error.  Be it a warning, deleting a post, deleting a topic, issuing an informal warning, whatever.
