When someone makes an anonymous topic, and it gets moved or removed, can you see who made the topic?
Because if it gets moved or removed, a mod or an automatic message pops up.


Can you see who made the topic? this has been burning in my mind for awhile....

Yes, we can see who posts an anonymous topic, but we have to jump through a few hoops to do so. It isn't right in the topic.

Like...we can. We can without moving or removing it.

If we're just moving it, we have no reason to look and wouldn't bother, more than likely.

If we remove it, we likely look. Depends on the topic. If it's spammy/trollish, we'll look to see if we should be sending a warning of some kind . Or even just note that it happened so we can informally warn if the member continues to abuse the feature.
