Practically every day I'll get like 10 messages within a 3-minute period of a bunch of my old posts that he removed.

And I always check out these posts when they are removed and most of the time there are other people who spammed it and he just lets them go.

Then he goes and warns me because of ALL this spam. Well obviously if you take a whole days worth of spam and condense it into 5 minutes at the end of the day it's gonna seem like a lot, but if he did this for everyone, the majority of people would be warned right now.

oh, and one of the posts he removed of mine was some guy saying he couldn't stop thinking about killing himself and i said something like 'me too' how the fuck is that spam? maybe i'm depressed too, asshole.

Why the fuck is he even a mod?

Let's check out some of his "helpful" posts! (and I'm the one warned for spam...)

this guy shouldn't be a mod and I should be unwarned. AND he shouldn't be allowed to stalk me!

Oh it looks like the mod in question is here talking to you. I assume the two of you can settle this and I'm not needed, if you have additional issues after you've discussed it with iconoclast then feel free to file a moderation error report, as in reality I think more mods will see your issue there than here.

I encourage any member who feels they are being harassed by a moderator to collect evidence in a similar fashion to this, and then either present it to a moderator they trust, an administrator they trust, or post it in member to moderator.

It looks like in this specific case, the member is not being "followed and harassed" by the moderator, but rather he spammed up a shitstorm one day and Iconoclast was the one who took care of it.

I respect the moderator in question, but I will find out what happened and whether or not it was unfair. Keep in mind, even if he was treating you unfairly, all I would ever push for is that he stop doing so.

Frankly, my first impression is that you legitimately did stupid shit and he was the one to clean up your mess, but I will check all the same.

the only reason i warned you and not other people is because youve been informally warned uh....six times for various spamming. nobody else ive seen has been given that many chances, at least not recently

most people get away with a lot less tbh

ive seen you spam in more 'supportive' forums for quite awhile, you shouldnt take what i post out of context because its 99.9% of the time in the spam forum (DTRM). but okay, the support topics you spam might not usually be the 'oh im dying and im extremely suicidal' topics, but theyre support topics nonetheless

and the reason i often delete a bunch of your posts in clusters is because when I see 2-3 spammy posts from a member, ill go through their recent posts in the support forums to see if theyve spammed more

lastly, the reason i think you get them from me (and other people do too) as opposed to other mods is because i comb the support forums quite a lot more than at least the majority of the mod team

like 5 of those 6 were for posting dead baby jokes

and imo, the 'oh im dying and im extremely suicidal' topics are the only ones where people really need support. the "zomg is my vagina too tight!?" ones... are ridiculous

its a very sarcastic comment. did you not mean it that way?

it didnt really contribute anything at all to the conversation at hand.

it wasn't sarcastic at all.

but whatever that's enough of this. it's a losing battle

I would like to keep talking about it if you are interested.

the unfortunate thing about the internet is that tone of voice and inflection are totally lost.

  what did you mean?

"join the club"

as in i feel the same way

ok. fair enough. i can see how you could say that and not be trying to be a jerk about it.

lets move on from that post?

I just took a quick walk through the last few pages of your replies. I was not thorough, and if you would like me to be I can be more thorough, but i noted lots of deleted posts in forums like: Friends and Family, tech/general tech, TDEI.

Generally these forums are considered support forums. If you post in these forums, your replies are held to a much higher standard than other forums. does that make sense?

yea. do you have examples of these awful posts of mine?
