Colleen35 Posted at 6:18 pm on Dec. 19, 2008 /psyxi/ /ps/ like in English /y/ is like an 'ee' sound with your lips rounded, like when you say 'oo' /i/ is and 'ee 'sound /x/ is the <ch> in <loch>; think how you change between the sounds /t/ and /s/, and it's the same change between /k/ and /x/ Modern Greek pronunciation it's /psiçi/ /ç/ is kind of like a lighter /x/.  Pronounce it with your tongue farther forward in your mouth, where you pronounce the <y> in <yes>.
