I'd say that British English is taught most in the world since that's the original language, but American English is more widespread so we still speak the American way... |

| Exactly, the English language is as varied as any other. There are so many different dialects and it's hard for even English people like myself to understand them all of the time. Take a look at this map and listen to the different accents. http://sounds.bl.uk/maps/Accents-and-dialects.html |

| Not all British people add "r's" to their words, as you put it. My guess is you're thinking of a typical English accent, but that's just one type. |

They add an 'r' to words, so they need to sit the fuck down.
Examples, please?
it's the way they speak
I have heard Americans say 'can't' like 'carn't'. It's only drawlly, squeaky Americans that pronounce it 'can-t'.

It wasn't really an admission that I think American English is better, it's all based on accents mainly. However, as most countries teach American English including (I believe) European countries, it's wrong to say Europeans look down upon it. |

| You're using the apostrophe wrong, by the way. Americans, not American's. |
