| That sounds... very fattening. But I'm not surprised, because around here they always sell fried oreos. By the way, Jadien, I love your avatar. <3 |

Embarrassingly, wasn't this pioneered first in Britain? We've been frying Mars bars in batter for decades now, especially up north.
Really? I honestly have never seen it here....and I cant say I was especially thrilled to. As if we need to make our food any more fattening....
Yep, used to just be a northern thing, but now they're here and there in the south too, and I know some Fish n Chips shops in Reading and Portsmouth, you can go in with a mars bar you've already bought and for 20p they stick it in the fryer for you. |

| Those have been around for a while. The most popular is deep fried snickers. It's actually really good. It sounds gross because you associate it with french fries, and chicken and fish. You're all aware that fast food restaurants [at least McDonald's] fries all their fries, chicken and fish in canola oil, which is primarily used when preparing fried deserts. :] |

| Oh come off it. Battered Mars Bars? Battered Cream Eggs? They've been around here for years. Originated in Bonnie Scotland, I believe. |
