I asked what their specials were and the guy said "the first deal we have a large pizza one topping, an order of breadsticks, a soda and a order of wings for $19.95". So I chose the 1st deal. I'm not gonna eat that much so I figured I would just stick it in the fridge. So I added an extra topping to my pepporoni (pineapple) and the guy said "ok we'll have out to you in around 30-45mins" then he hung up. I called back to see what my total was and he said $38.45. I was like WTF?? He said by adding stuffed crust and pineapple you voided the offer. I told him that that was a bunch of bullshit and that they have never done that before. So I cancelled my order and hung up. I think they were trying to steal me money. Rawr. Haha the manager just called and he told me that a couple of guys were overcharging customers and taking the difference. I get my order for free!! Yay me!!

Most people are too nervous once the delivery guy arrives to say anything... they'll just pay whatever they have to to make him go away. it's even worse when the customer thinks the price difference is THEIR fault. Good thing you got your money back. Although, it's usually a good idea to ask if something will void a special if it has to be made custom.
