i'm cooking some soup for dinner, what do you think of this, would you eat it?

It has beef, onion, red potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, tomatoes, and spices and such.

I think it sounds good, and it's cold here, so it'll be perfect.

thoughts?

soup is great for that, especially in the winter.

and cornbread!

Chea!   I was thinking maybe apple muffins for dessert tonight, though... cause we don't have anything to make corn bread.

Yum, that sounds good! I'd eat it if you substituted chicken for beef though....I don't eat red meat.

I am not really a beef person, what about turkey?   I don' thave that though, all i ahve is beef, so i had to improvise. I think turkey would be the best in it, though... because it absorbs flavor the best.

turkey is a great soup staple.

It is!   we are getting more soon, we just have to wait because of money... so i use what we have and try to make things work.   like making this soup, i can stretch trips to the store by doing things like this, and save us money.

 I love turkey.

Turkey is healthier, as well, and i like the texture it gets when you saute onions with it.

You're making me hungry now!

I don't like beef, but it sounds lovely without or with chicken.
